On a silver base metal device 1 3/16 inches (3.02 cm) in height, a disc divided per saltire blue, white, red, white clockwise, with eight mullets in the blue quarter horizontally placed one, five, and two, and three pales couped in the red quarter base metal, the sinister white quarter has an annulet and in dexter quarter a pale couped black the disc is encircled by a black ring, a yellow lightning flash and a sword with a brown handle overall in saltire. Attached in base a black scroll inscribed with the motto “PRAESTANTIA INDICII” in silver letters.
